Charter School Initiative

The Iqra Education Foundation is embarking on an ambitious effort to establish a charter school designed to cater to the unique educational needs of immigrant and underserved communities. This initiative aims to provide a high-quality, culturally responsive education that emphasizes academic excellence, character development, and community engagement. By integrating culturally relevant curricula and fostering a supportive learning environment, the foundation seeks to bridge educational gaps and empower students with the skills and knowledge necessary for success in higher education and beyond. The charter school will serve as a beacon of opportunity, striving to uplift and inspire students from diverse backgrounds while promoting inclusivity and equity in education.

After school programs

The Iqra Education Foundation is committed to supporting families by establishing a comprehensive after-school program designed to enrich the educational experience of students while providing crucial support to working parents. This program will offer a safe and nurturing environment where children can engage in academic tutoring, extracurricular activities, and cultural enrichment. By providing homework assistance, STEM activities, arts and crafts, and sports, the program aims to foster holistic development and ignite students' passions and talents. Additionally, the after-school program will emphasize community building and social skills, helping students develop a sense of belonging and connection. Through this initiative, the foundation seeks to alleviate the burden on parents by ensuring their children are well cared for and supported academically and socially after school hours.

Student summer camp and Parent workshops

The Iqra Education Foundation is excited to announce the launch of a dynamic Student Summer Camp and a series of Parent Workshops aimed at fostering educational growth and family engagement. The Student Summer Camp will provide a stimulating environment where children can participate in a wide range of activities, including academic enrichment, sports, arts, and cultural programs, designed to keep their minds active and engaged during the summer months. Simultaneously, the Parent Workshops will offer valuable resources and training on topics such as educational support at home, navigating the school system, and promoting children's emotional and social well-being. These workshops aim to empower parents with the knowledge and skills needed to support their children's educational journey effectively. Together, these initiatives will create a holistic approach to education, ensuring both students and parents are equipped with the tools for success.
